Welcome to Western Pennsylvania Anglers. WPA was organized by a group of professional anglers interested in the promotion of Western Pennsylvania's waterways and the recreational opportunities around them. Increasing the number of people who enjoy angling, boating, and outdoor recreational activities benefits all. The ecotourism revenue generated by such activities is highly respected in other western states as many of us who fish across the US have seen. The WPA realizes that our region has underutilized these assets to a large extent and we want to help improve that situation. Our organization would like to see our area businesses and recreational faculties enjoy the revenue and growth others already enjoy. By promoting angling and water sports in many different ways, the WPA, with the cooperation of its supporters, will aid in the future growth of these industries.
