Teams fishing a minimum of only 3 TOURNAMENTS can qualify for the championship. Qualify in any state (Minimum 2 tournaments in any state, minimum 3 tournaments total). Events

Safe Boating
The Squadron Boating Course is our civic efforts toward public instruction in the fundamentals of safe boating. Both courses are designed to familiarize the student with the fundamentals of safe boating and qualify for certification in most states that require boating education before operating a watercraft. Subjects include:

Boat handling under normal conditions
Adverse conditions and emergencies
Types of boats and boating terminology
Required and recommended equipment
Boating regulations and navigation rules
Lines and knots
Charts and aids to navigation
Piloting techniques (in Boating only)
Marine radiotelephone usage
Trailer boating

The above course is being offered at Mt Lebanon High School located at 155 Cochran Road starts on Tuesday February 11, 2003 and continues for 8 weeks. This course is geared for operators who desire to know more than the minimum state requirements for safe boating. The South Hills Power Squadron is offering this course.
